Featuring award winning and groundbreaking international artists who have worked with the likes of Cirque du Soleil, Wyclef Jean, Celine Dion, Alexander McQueen, Roberta Flack and more.  Artists will transform time and space, to create a magical journey through the sounds, sights, smells and tastes of Magical Realism.   The show includes dynamite dancing, spectacular aerial work, fantastic site-specific installations, exquisite costume design and theatrical landscapes that expose the intimacy of humanity.   The event will occur at the illustrious PACHA NY Nightclub. Past Event: Cluster in Black & White

Cluster in 360°, is a sexy new style event of dance, theatre and music, in collaboration with some of New York’s most exciting young artists.

On Sunday May 8th 2005, Dance Anonymous is taking over New York’s latest hot spot, BUTTER with its beautiful wooden arched architecture. We invite you to dive into an explicit experience of beauty and darkness as we explore how confined spaces can serve as a catalyst for revelation.  The artists will be performing in the kitchen, in the bathrooms, on the bar, under the tables and through original sets as we create a multidimensional montage of daring and emotional landscapes in the themes of a Port Town’s cultural mosaic.  Through multi-disciplinary collaboration we will expose the seeds of Cluster, a sneak preview of Dance Anonymous’ new work, to be premiered in September 2006.

Our Gala guests will enjoy wine with fine dinning Hors D’oeuvres made exclusively by BUTTER’s own Alexandra Guarnaschelli and handmade chocolates by Confections by Daniel, live original music by Band X, exclusive performances by Dance Anonymous & guests, a silent auction and more dancing of your own to the global grooves of DJs Acidophilus & Derek Beres (GlobeSonic)

At 7:00pm the doors will open again for friends to join the party.  Our open door tickets also include special performances in Cluster concept with live original music, bringing dance to the audience in 360°. There will be drink specials at the bar, a silent auction with wonderful gifts from our sponsors and the party will just be getting started.

Band X: Rubin Kodheli – cello (Dave Douglas), Jesse Mills – violin (Orpheus), Colin Jacobson – violin (Yoyo Ma’s Silk Road Project), Kyle Sanna – guitar (  ) and Chris Vatalaro – drums (Antibalas).  They bring us vivid sensuous sounds of distant lands forging new horizons in a rare mix of jazz, classical, blues, tango, flamenco and rock ’n roll; Jon Craine - Set Designer (Cirque Productions, Museum of Science & Technology Paris); Yiorgos Bellapaisiotis - Costume Designer (Alexander McQueen, Silver Thimble Award -Donna Karen NY, Gold Thimble Award - Hollywood designer Donald Brooks); Paul Hudson - Lighting Designer (ABC, CNN, Kaatsbaan, Synaesthetic Theatre); Ayelen Liberona - Choreographer (Co-Artistic Director of Dance Anonymous) in collaboration with the dancers.
